Fear and Loathing in Bronxville?

I got invited to a few parties last night and today and I turned them all down. I thought that would be harder to do, but it really wasn't. I am actually quite surprised, it seems like I am over drinking and partying. That may not be the case forever, but at least at this moment, I am not at all interested in doing drugs or drinking. I really don't even feel like being that social whatsoever. Point in case, it is 8:00 on a Saturday night and I am ready to go to bed, wow. I didn't have the productive day I wanted. It's really hard for me to work when it is raining, so I spent most of my day napping and watching "Mr. Show." I will probably go check in on Jen, Sarah, and Sabrina in a bit and see what they are upto tonight. They too seemed to be watching "Mr. Show," but I don't feel like joining them. On another note, Anne is going to her first prom tonight. I'm really happy for her and I hope she has a ball. Alright, I will probably post tomorrow.

Updating

Well, I haven't been updating everyday, but I feel like I am justified. My livejournal has been overrun with people who feel the urge to call me a bigot and a racist and all of this other shit based upon a story that was none of the above. But, I've been trying to get my life in order which has been going quite well. It's tough waking up at 8 am everyday, but like all things it seems to be getting easier with time. I have been doing my school work and just keeping on top of things a whole lot better. It's amazing what an improvement is being made on my attitude. It's also interesting to not do drugs anymore, like my experience at school has really changed drastically. I also am trying to go to bed earlier at night, which definitely has cut down on the shenanigans that I do. I went to bed at like 11:30 last night, and I was actually exhausted, weird. But, regardless, I haven't smoked pot or drank at all since I've been back to school. It's only been a week, and I'm sure I'll be tested more and more. I don't know, it's really going to be tough as the school year draws to a close. I've been trying to keep a more upbeat attitude and that seems to be making a difference, at least to me. I am working really hard to just better myself and be a better friend, so I'm excited to see what the future brings. On another note, I have sent in my apps to Minnesota, KU, and Indiana. I need Anne to go to Central and request transcripts for me and I need to get the ones from SLC, and I should be all set. I need to work on my Northwestern application today. I'm also going to try and read a bit for class on Monday, or at least try and work on 3D animation. Anne is coming to NYC this week for her tenth grade class trip. I am going to try and go into the city and see her and Eliza. I'm going to try and talk to Eliza and Jackie for a bit about not being bitches, but who knows how well that will go over. I hope they respect me as an authority figure, but who knows. It's weird that Anne is almost 16. It only reminds me that I'm growing up and that's pretty intense. I really don't have much else to write about, but who knows what else will happen within the next few days.

Day 1

Ok, so it's time to start a new. I have to keep myself on track and I have to get my life in order. If I want to be a good person, a good friend, and a good student I have to follow my rules and schedule. It's going to be really really hard, but I have to prove to myself that I can do this. If I can prove to myself that I can be a better person, maybe I can someday be friends with people the way I used to be. It's a challenge I am really willing to take and I think I can handle it. One day at a time. One breath at a time. One step at a time. I need to get everything in order in my life. I can do this. I can.
